I did however manage to make a card or two and tomorrow I have a video treat to share on the Penny Black blog and on my blog here. So to give you a hint of what is to come here is a quick card, details on how to create the base design will be shared tomorrow.

Materials used: All You Need 40-092, Free Flight 30-117, Sentiments 30-025 and Sea Breeze 08-001 Mix and Match cardstock.
The butterfly was inked with Colorbox pigment green ink and embossed with clear powder, I then used twinklets to add a little pink to the edges of the wings and a Copic pen to add shading to the centre. I will share how the background image was made tomorrow. Did you notice the edge of the inside of the card? I used a rubblier (just love that word) and some brown cardstock to create a textured edge.
Well I have just had some good news to start my week, my Son has offered to take me to see my Daughter later this week....I love him for being so thoughtful.
Have a wonderful week, Hugs

Fabulous card Cathy - great colours and I love how you have taken the pink into the butterfly wings.

I hope you do manage to see your daughter. Those colours are quite spectacular together & I love the contrast of that edge - I've got one of those gadgets buried in my cupboard, must remember it next time I want some texture. This is lovely & classy with the crispness of the black & white & the pastel colours.
