Resist Brayering with a Memento Mash Up

Hi I am back again with an extra video post today for Penny Black.  I wanted to share how easy it is to create a resist without the need for embossing powder...all you need is a bit of glossy card and a Versamark pad and away you go!  Here is the clean and simple quick design that I will be showing you how to recreate in the video today.

Ink resist technique

I mashed up several colours of memento ink to get this blush pink shade, so love how you can mix things up to get what you want! You would never guess that this colour is a result of mixing Angel Pink, Cantaloupe and Lady Bug inks would you! Watch the video below to see how I mixed them.

Materials used:- All You Need 40-092, Gratitude 30-105, Memento inks as listed above and Timber Brown Staz On.  Spellbinders Labels One - Standard and Large.

I hope this inspires you to have a go at this simple technique, I will be back tomorrow with one more clean and simple card, until then Hugs

  9. The warmth of the colour you created with the brayered layers looks super with the brown & white - partiucularly with your added brown foliage stamping.
Very helpful to see the masking technique too.
