The Artist's Loft on the Penny Black Blog Hop

Hi to everyone, including those of you that have arrived here from the talented Heather, In honor of Penny Black's newest collection, the Penny Black designers are sharing projects and inspiration with the new stamps!

take a peek

Not only are we hopping, we're giving away stamps, too!  Leave a comment on each blog, including the Penny Black blog, for a chance to win a selection of these brand new stamps.

To begin the hop from the start and for a complete list of all blogs involved, visit the Penny Black blog HERE.

It was so hard to choose which stamps to use for this hop as I love them all, but 'The Artist' stamp 40-232 made me think of all the inspirational crafters on the internet and so I dedicate this to all of you.

The Artist's Loft

The Artist stamp has been coloured using Copic Markers and cut out and then mounted onto Storm 01-001 Mix and Match card cut using Spellbinders Grand Squares LF-126 and stamped with Brick Wall 40-137 coloured with Tim Holtz Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge inks.

The window was masked and stamped with Mummu's Roses 40-231, coloured with Copics and a  Window Two S2-016 cut using Stone 02-003 Mix and Match card  from Spellbinders added over the top.

The sentiment from Eloquence 30-162 was then stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with Vanilla Wow embossing powder.

Don't forget to leave a comment on all the blogs along the hop to increase your chances of winning, your next port of call is the amazing Therese HERE. Please note the competition closes on the 2nd June 2013 at 11.59 PM  PST (7.59am UK time)

Happy Hopping

  52. My first thought was of Vermeer - I think it's the peasant scene through the window with the young artist working - so reminiscent of many of his paintings' layout. I love your gradations of colour on that brickwork & the beautiful way in which the pale blue sky contrasts with both the bricks & the window frame.
