My first ever crop

I have had a busy time this week, the highlight of which, was to attend my first scrapbooking crop, hosted by Katy of Design Objectives. We were given 3 page kits and examples and then left to create (I only managed one page - as I didn't have the right colours in my photos to co-ordinate with the papers provided). The highlight for me of the evening was the abundant supply of CHOCOLATE!!!!! followed closely by meeting some lovely, tallented people.

The only problem I found on the evening, was that I had left several things at home that would have greatly enhanced my page...stamps, ink, etc...every one else came with suitcase sized trolleys-I now know why!

The stampaholic monster made an appearance this week too....I found a great US website that had several stamp sets that I have been craving and well what more can I say I couldn't resist temptation and so now I eagerly await the arrival of the postman each day in hope that my parcel arrives soon.

Other news this week:-Hero Arts set a card making challenge this week that I have found absolutely impossible...to design a card with a shabby chic style, no matter how hard I try, I just can't achieve the look I am striving for!

So here are some pictures of my efforts.

Sounds like you had a great time....and chocolate is always good!! Lovely layout and card - I like the way you've used the punch in the oval.

Hi Cathy! Love your card! It's made me smile (as has your comment on my blog - thank you x) Your LO is great too! I am so novice at those having only done one but this is fab!

Hi Cathy! Sounds like great fun! Just FYI... I have one of those suitcase sized trolleys, and it is HEAVY once it gets loaded up. Hard to get it in and out of the car.

And, even with all the stuff I put in it, there's still always something I left at home! (heehee!)

Don't stalk the postal carrier too much! ;-)

Your stuff looks good to me - I think you handle shabby chic just fine!

Anne Gaal tagged me, so I've tagged you. If you come to my blog, you can join in the fun.
