In Celebration of Learning

Those wonderful people at Hero Arts are having a challenge this week to make a card or page based on something you have learnt on the site. As a hostess I was asked to do a makeover on one of my earlier cards to incorporate the things I have learnt.

Well if you saw my earlier attempts at card making you could see that any changes would be an improvement!

You can view my card here on the Hero Arts Blog http://heroarts.com/blogs/club/

As the butterfly is made using fantasy film, I thought I would share a technique video with you on how it was made. I have yet to master editing so it is a bit basic, my apologies!

As a senior citizen with a hearing problem, I very much appreciate the clarity and slower speed with which you speak so that I could easily follow your directions. What a lovely, lovely butterfly. Thanks for sharing.

I have never seen Fantasy Film anywhere, and perhaps, it's because I haven't been looking for it. It certainly creates an unusual effect - so iridescent.

Your video is great. You made this look like anyone can do it by making it look so simple and easy.

Thank you.

Cathy - I can only echo what others have said. Great tutorial. May I ask where you got your craft iron from in UK?

Thank you everyonefor the lovely comments,Leta, I found it in Tesco, it is just a travel iron, but an encaustic iron would work just as well
