Cheesecake message
Penny Black have a paper piecing challenge over on their blog this week, and as I am a little squeemish when it comes to mice, I decided to make mine look as if they are made of fabric! To create this card I stamped the cheesecake message stamp several times onto grey, cream, patterned paper and dictionary paper, I then used distress inks on each bit to add highlight or shadow and then the momentus task of cutting each bit out and layering up to add dimension. I just had to add my own little touch to this and so I made a little pair of specs out of wire for the chief mouse..he looks like the foreman inspecting the work...so cute!
