Butterfly Love

Someone special to me loves butterflies and so I wanted to incorporate one into her Birthday card.

For her card I stamped the butterfly from the To You clear set 30-067  onto white card twice, I then coloured both images with Twinkling H2Os and cut out the wing on one to superimpose over the other. I then stamped Paisly Outline  40-048 with Memories soft apricot ink and cut out using spellbinders inverted rectangle die, I then cut a slightly larger piece of purple card to act as a matte and mounted onto pale blue card, I then stamped the sentiment also from the To You clear set 30-067 onto white card and cut out using spellbinders labels 20, again I cut a slightly larger mount in purple card. This was then mounted onto the paisly background and ribbon wrapped around the bottom portion (tip:- I didn't have any ribbon the right colour; so I used white ribbon and coloured with copics). This panel was then sewn onto a slightly darker blue card blank, the butterfly attached with dimensional pads and prima flowers added with pearls to accent.

Don't forget to hop on over to the Penny Black Blog today, for a full design team special; I promise it will be worth the visit!

Thanks for visiting :)
