Hi everyone, today is national scrapbooking day and to celebrate there is a one day challenge over on the Penny Black blog Here, and LOTS OF PRIZES! So make sure you hop on over to check it out; the design team have also been creating some fabulous projects especially for the day. Here; just for you is a sneak peak of my creation.
As it is officially national scrapbooking day I have also made a monochromatic page, inspired by Jill's card using Penny Black Sundial Stamp 4159K, Brush Strokes Upper Case Alphabet 20-003 & Brush Strokes Lower Case Alphabet 20-004. The flower was stamped repeatedly using masking techniques to give a band of flowers. The title was stamped using a stamp positioner and black satin ribbon added to the top and bottom edges.
I wanted the journaling to be subtle, and so placed it around the edges of the petals.

Cathy your page is beautiful. I like how you put the journaling around the flower petals. And your card is amazing - so pretty in blues!!
