Christmas in July

Strange as it may seem, whilst the sun is beating down on many of us, crafters and card makers thoughts turn to Christmas around now, and getting all their cards made in time for the festive season.

With this in mind Penny Black's challenge this week is Christmas in July. Here is a little set of 3 cards that I have made for my chosen charity Crumbs, with this theme.

I have used Penny Black's Naughty or Nice stamp 3282L and Give, Share, Love stamp 2766H , I inked each little image separately and stamped onto a white square card blank, a border was drawn with a fine liner pen and the sentiment stamped.  The image was then coloured with Prisma pencils and blended with mineral spirit.

Prisma Pencils used:
Dog - Peach Beige, Burnt Ochre and Terra Cotta
Snowman - Blue Slate
Hat - Lime Peel and Moss Green
Scarf - Scarlet Lake and Crimson Red
Snow- Periwinkle

The snow flakes were then glittered with stardust stickles.
