Penny Black Meets Faber-Castell

This week Penny Black have teamed up with Faber-Castell and the designers have been working away on some amazing projects, so do hop on over to the Penny Black Blog Here and the Faber-Castell blog here to see more.

I only got my Faber Castell pens on Monday and so I am still experimenting with all the amazing ways you can use them.  A firm favourite has to be the Stamper's Big Brush Markers, they are so Juicy, I will definately be adding to the two colours I have!

The background has been created using Penny Black mix and match cardstock Summer Sun 17-003 available here, Red Metalic Gelato from this set here was applied directly to the Pointille stamp 3860J then misted with water and stamped onto card. This was then cut out using spellbinders die reverse wonky rectangles. The edges were then distressed with wild honey ink.
If you have never used Gelatos before they are so easy to apply to your stamp they come in lipstick form and you just swipe them over the stamp...no mess!
The main panel was created from a rectangle of white card stock, the edges have been Deco corner chomped and then distressed with shabby shutters, bundled sage and forest moss ink. This was then overstamped with the pointille stamp 3860J that had been spritzed with water.
The sentiment Softer and Kinder 3144F was stamped with Versafine Olympia Green.
The Cheerful stamp 4160K available here was then inked directly using Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen Orange Glaze from this set here onto white card, this was then shaded with Pitt artist pens, Cadmium Yellow, Orange Glaze, Dark Chrome Yellow, Light Yellow from the same set and Pitt Big Brush pen from this set here, to add a softness to the petals Pitt Pastel 113 was used from this set here. The flower was then cut out and micro beads added to the centre. This was then mounted onto the card with some recycled ribbon from a chocolate box!
Thank you for visiting and don't forget to check out the amazing work by the other design team members.
