There is an exciting announcement today over on Penny Black, there are two fabulous new designers joining the team, to check out their debut click here.
This week some of the designers will be sharing All Occasion Cards, I wanted to make an all occasion card inspired by this beautiful shaped card by Peet here.
I have used Penny Black's 'Rose Garden' Mix and Match Card Stock 14-001 and 14-002; 'Music Foil Vellum' 60-009, 'Letter Background' 1999L, 'Enjoy Life' 30-032, 'Aspire' 3381K.
Other materials include Flowersoft Raspberry Fizz Ultrafine Flowersoft, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Spun Sugar and Antique Linen, Spellbinders Standard Circles, Pennants and Scallop Pennants, Gem Stones, Tombow Markers 755 and 126 and Marvy Olive Brown.
To create the central panel colour the stamp with markers and spritz with water, stamp onto card and then distress edges using a blending tool. Ink up the letter background with Antique Linen and dab off the ink in the centre stamp over the flower image. Add Flowersoft to long blooms and gems to the smaller flowers and mount up onto dye cut layers.
Hope you have a great week, hugs
Cathy

Cathy the glow and text surrounding the flowers in the center is fabulous!
wow this is great...love the shape..
Love this beautiful take on Peet's design, Cathy! Your flowers just glow! :)
what a wonderful design and shape of your card. I love the "fun" that this shape brings to a card.
I love your use of the pinks & the vibrancy of the Flowersoft. The way you used the letter background stamp with the inked edges is brilliant & really makes the whole just so vivid.
