Love and Fluff

Making a valentines card for my husband is so hard, how do I do it without making it too girly?  Well this year I thought I would try limiting my colour palette and go for blacks and kraft shades...that is manly right?

I used the stamp set 'Go with Your Heart' 40-043 by Penny Black, and stamped the sentiment inside. The card blank and kraft circle were cut using  spellbinders dies and then the main image stamped onto white card, coloured with copics, lightly shaded with Antique Linen dye ink and then cut out. Feathers were added and the heart in the centre of the image stamped and embossed onto Kraft chipboard, coloured with copics and a (twine) hemp bow added. I am entering this in the casual friday challenge here and the Lily pad cards challenge - see side bar for links to challenge sites.
Would you like a chance to win this stamp set?

To be included in the draw please:-
1) Leave a comment at the end of this post and
2) Become a follower of my blog (if you are not already a follower) and
3) If you have a blog please share the link to this giveaway.

Good Luck everyone, I will draw the winner on the 31st January at 9pm BST.

Hugs Cathy

I know what you mean for my husband does not do 'cute' at all - a very proper English Gentleman type. Love the way you've used the Antique Linen to soften the white & that's some pretty nifty Copics colouring especially with the reds on kraft. The layering of the prinicpal heart over the feathers works beautifully & I'd certainly love to win the stamp - that's one of my targets this year: building my PB collection. Thanks for a chance of doing just that - sidebar is adorned & am already a Follower.
