Hi, I am back again with another Black and White card for the Casual Friday Challenge, details for the challenge can be found here.
My inspiration for this card came from memories of seeing my children's balloons flying away in the sky when they were little, drifting over the rooftops out of reach!
I inked the balloon from Penny Black's 'Joyride' 4230K stamp, and then stamped the sentiment from the Transparent 'Sentiments' set 30-025, I then added thread, glossy accents and a little holographic glitter.
The 'Victorian Home' 40-091was stamped at the bottom of the card and small areas coloured with black fine liner pen, this was then put onto a glossy black mount and then a white card blank.
If you haven't already entered there is still time to be included in the draw for my giveaway here.
Hope you are all having a great week.
Hugs Cathy

Such a great design Cathy, we always had tears when this happened. Love the Black and white only colour scheme.
I love the way you have made this scene & the twine of the balloon is a lovely touch. The dimension & attention to detail quite thrills me & I shall have to have a look at the Casual Friday Challenge more closely.

Great contemporary design Cathy!
Cathy, this is adorable! Kind of sad that the balloon is free, but a glorious image in black and white.

Perfectly Clean and Simple! Couldn't help but color that balloon in red in my imagination...Well Done!
