I have just discovered the Simon Says Challenge blog, to start the new year they have set the challenge anything 'new'. So I thought it was the ideal opportunity to make a new home card with a gift keyring.
The house from Penny Black's 'Victorian Home' cling set 40-091 was stamped onto cream shrink plastic and coloured with copics. A hole was punched before shrinking and then a split ring was added and attached to a keyring hoop.
This was mounted onto a tag cut using Quickutz Tag nesting dies, that had been stamped with 'Pointille' 3860J also by Penny Black and then mounted onto a larger tag cut from Penny Black 'Rose Garden' Mix and Match cardstock 14-003.
The tag was then mounted onto cream card that had been distressed with Tim Holtz inks Walnut Stain and Brushed Corduroy, stamped again with Pointille and a sentiment added from Katie & Co. This was then mounted onto Penny Black mix and match cardstock to finish.
Sorry for the quality of the photo but it was taken at night. Thanks for visiting.
Hugs Cathy

Cathy - what a fab idea - love your keyring and card.
Fabulous way to celebrate a new home with a key chain to hold the new key!
Beautifully effective with the layering & the turned over corners being coloured . It's a really delightfully personal New Home gift & I particularly like the way you have used Pointille on both the tag & your background stamping.
