Can't wait for Spring and Summer

Here is another card that I have made for my local charity, I wanted to use spring yellow colours but with a hint of summer, this is the result.

The card blank has been cut using Spellbinders grand large scallop oval and 'Summer Sun' 17-001 mix and match cardstock.  This has then been overstamped with the 'houses of parliament' 4223K and Tim Holtz Mustard Seed ink.

The main panel has been cut using Spellbinders Labels Twenty and 'Fall Festival' 16-002 mix and match cardstock and White card - the edges of which have been inked with Tim Holtz Wild Honey distress ink.

The flower is from Penny Black's 'Tigress' 3817K and has been coloured with Copics and liquid pearls added to the stamen.

The Banner is also from a Spellbinders die and has been stamped with a sentiment from the 'Tiny Wishes' 30-026 stamp set.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Hugs Cathy

Gorgeous card, Cathy! Just love these warm, bright colors! I can't wait for the warmer weather either! We've got a snow storm brewing, and should be here on Sunday - yuk! Have a good weekend! :)

I love your liquid pearls accents & the colouring of those petals. The stamping of the background panel & the inking of the banner is so effective. As I said on the PB blog this really made me think of a London Square planted with flowers.

PS - the daffodils are coming up in our woodland so Spring cannot be far away.
