I have a strange sense of humour!

I often giggle at the silliest of things, and friends will tell you that I am a true fool!  I love to add humour to my cards too, and this one is no exception.

Could you imagine a chicken making a nest in the cosy Busby?  Well this is the conversation I think they would have!

printed the sentiment using my computer, an alternative could be ‘loving your cosy new home’.  I also wanted to add a bit of dimension to the card and so double stamped and dry embossed the guard and chickens.
I coloured the ‘On Guard 4215K stamp with a Memento dual marker excluding the chickens on the roof and stamped directly onto white card.  The guard house and chicken legs were then coloured with the markers .
I then inked just the guard with the marker pen and stamped onto a separate piece of white card, using a stamp positioner I inked one of the chickens on the roof and stamped onto the guard’s buzby.  This was then coloured with Copic markers, cut out and dry embossed on the back to add dimension.  I repeated this process for the standing chicken and then mounted them both onto the main card with dimensional glue.

Thanks for visiting me today, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs Cathy
