Movie Madness and accepting what you already have!

This week Casual Friday Have a Movie inspired card challenge on their blog here, sponsered by Simon Says. So I began to wrack my brains for a suitable movie theme, then inspiration struck in the form of a text from my daughter who was on a field trip in Spain for her Geography degree recently.

The message read

This really made me giggle as she had gone out and bought a pair of Wellies with a fancy pattern on, when she had a perfectly good serviceable plain green pair that would have done!

So I wanted to send her a card to make her smile and the Wallace and Gromit Movies came to mind, and the adorable little sheep, as you can see from this film clip here

I remembered that I had a stamp of a sheep in wellies...perfect!

So I printed a sentiment on my computer and stamped the image to make this card.

I have used Penny Black's 'Plimsoll Pete' 3109F and colourd with alcohol markers.

I hope this made you smile, it certainly did me and I await the reaction of my Daughter when she receives it in the post!

Hugs Cathy

I just got the biggest smile from this, Cathy! Too funny! And I cannot believe that you had a stamp that coordinated so perfectly with your conversation!
Your DD will get a good chuckle from this as well :)

This is a real treat - doesn't it just make you think again about using the stash you have too? I have been so impressed by the range of PB stamps & this just proves that there's something for every eventuality. I like the way you finished the card off with the embossed border too. I'm learning much from seeing your CAS cards.
