Touring The Sites of London

This year is a special year for the United Kingdom, not only are we hosting the 2012 Olympic Games but it is also the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.  I was so excited when Penny black revealed a London Collection, it is perfect for this special year.  To showcase some of the stamps I decided to make a triple easel card and I have to say I was surprised how easy it was to colour the buildings!

Supplies used to create this card included 'London Cabby' 4219K, 'Houses of Parliament' 4223K, 'The London Eye' 4225K, ' The Tower Bridge' 4227K, 'Love London' 30-093 stamps, 'Storm' 01-002, 'Clear Skies' 10-003, and 'Coral Reef' 15-003 mix and match cardstock.

I also used the following Copic markers to colour the taxi and the building R27, R08, B26, C1, C3, C5, C7, W1, W3, W5, W7, E002, E00, R20, E37, E49, E33, Y23, BG72, B23.

If you have time check out the Penny Black Blog today to see Peet's London collection creation And don't forget to check back again on Friday...I hear there may be a give away here too.

Thanks for visiting me today.

Hugs Cathy

Oh my goodness, Sista, this is fantastic! We had hoped to visit the British Isles this year, but a travel agent actually told us to stay away b ecause the price of everything would be going up, due to those 2 events. Guess I have to wait another year......

Threading all that bunting & cutting out must have taken you hours. It's a lovely little scene & I love the shading of the car - it looks so shiny & the little creatures look as if they are having great fun.
