My Son is soon to take his driving test, and I wanted a card ready to mark the occasion, this is what I came up with.
I found a small photo and cut out the head and shoulders and then stamped the Mini from the Penny Black stamp 'Miniful' 4220K onto a separate piece of card coloured with copic markers and cut out.
The base card was created using 'Clear Skies' mix and match cardstock 10-003 and spellbinders labels eight die, this was then faux stitched with a navy fine liner pen. I then cut a smaller label out of white card stock, distressed with Tumbled Glass and Stormy Skies distress inks and then overstamped the edges with 'Pointille' 3860J. The 'Congrats' 3850E sentiment was stamped and a torn 'L' plate added. The car was added to the base using dimensional foam pads.
I hope he passes, it will really boost his independence.
Did you know that this week the Designers over at the Penny Black Blog will be sharing cards made with the latest stamp release? You can check out their creations here.
Quick update......he passed!
Hugs and thanks for all your wonderful comments.
