Framing the Sentiment

For today's card, I wanted to create a flower frame for the main sentiment and so decided to use a flower from the 'Flowers Sweet' 30-096 Transparent set, that I stamped onto 'Clear Skies' 10-002 Mix and Match cardstock embossed in white and then filled in the petals with a white gel pen.

The sentiment was stamped and embossed from the 'Gratitude' 30-105 Transparent set and the butterfly stamped onto brown vellum, cut out and dimensionally glued to the card.  To finish off I added some dotted grosgrain ribbon and some blue pearls.

Tomorrow I have a mega post with lots of card inspiration to share, so if you have time do stop by.

Hugs Cathy

Brilliant framing technique & I love the way the ribbon pcks up on the butterfly's colouring. The little pearls add a lovely touch too.
