My Favourite Stamp?

Well I was asked if I could come up with a card using my favourite stamp from Penny Black's latest collection, my first though was impossible, as were my next few thoughts; I mean how can I pick just one stamp?  I absolutely love the whole collection, so how could I play favourites with just one stamp!

So my solution was to pick any stamp and see how many different ways it could be used, so I chose 'Breezy' 40-111.

Here it is as the focal point of a card

Did you notice the shadow, I stamped the fronds in a lighter ink to get this effect. Sentiment is from  'Gratitude' 30-105 Transparent set, 'Rose Garden' 14-003 Mix and Match Cardstock, added stickles and used two colours of ink for each stamping of the leaves.

The sentiment on this card is from  'Sweet Wishes' 30-104 Transparent set and the background Navy card is recycled from the packaging of a dreamweaver stencil.

My next card uses the fronds as support to the main flowers

This stamp also uses 'Gratitude' 30-105 transparent set, 'Flower Festival' 30-095 Transparent set, 'Flowers Sweet' 30-096 Transparent set, 'Fuchsia Fantasies' 13-001, 13-002 and 13-003 Mix and Match Cardstock. I lightly coloured the flowers with Copics and added Flowersoft to the centre of the main flower.

There was a scrap of card left from the card above so I used this to create this sympathy card.

For this card and matching envelope I also used '...Wishes' 30-103 Transparent set and 'Fern Green' 05-003 Mix and Match Cardstock.  I re-stamped the ferns without re-inking to get the shadow effect on this card.

Finally I thought I would make a card with the Breezy fronds as a background

For this card I also used 'Gratitude' 30-105, 'Flowers Sweet' 30-096,'Coral Reef' 15-002 and 'Olive Grove' 04-003. To soften the sentiment against the background I stamped the sentiment onto vellum.

Thank you for visiting me this week, I hope you have been inspired by my cards today.  Have a great weekend.

This was a perfect solution to the brief & this illustrates beautifully how versatile the PB stamps are & the way you can use them in conjunction with one another. I love your use of the Flowersoft for the flower centre too - I think that is my favourite of these.
