Scented Trio

Did you know you can add shading to Copic coloured images with distress inks!  Here are a trio of cards where I have done just that.


















Did you notice the roses on the corner, you can see how to make them in this post here. Here is a video on how the blue card was created.



Here are closeups of each card with their matching decorated envelopes each card was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and coloured with Copic Markers and shading added with distress inks.




















I really enjoyed making this set of cards, I hope they inspire you to mix your colouring mediums.

I had no idea about mixing the Distress Colouring with the Copics so thanks for such a detailed tutorial - fascinating seeing the Distress Stain splattering technique which really changes the whole dramatically into such an authentic creation. I couldn't get over how beautifully the detail of the flower centres made the images come alive.
