Not a Yellow Sunflower!

Yesterday I shared a Warhol inspired card, today I thought I would share a more toned down version using the same stamp, 'Sunshine' 4235L.

The sunflower was again coloured with Inktense pencils - if you are new to these pencils the brightness of the colour is only revealed when water is added, so I would recommend that you test colours on scratch paper first. The sentiment from the 'Wishes' 30-103 set was then stamped in versa fine ink.

I used Spellbinders Wonky rectangles for the image and mount using 'Olive Grove' 04-003 Mix and Match cardstock, this was then mounted onto 'Coral Reef' 15-001 Mix and match cardstock that has been embossed with Tim Holtz Fancy Floral and Frame set embossing folder.

I am entering this card in the Lily pad challenge here.
Thanks for visiting me today and for all the comments you leave, they really make my day.
Hugs Cathy

Still very striking - the embossed base card really makes the whole sunflower sing by echoing your colouring fo those petals. The use of the green for the wonky rectangle frame really 'pops' & accentuates the slant of the stem.
