The main feature of this card is the stamped and dry embossed double heart metal embellishment, it was created by stamping the hearts from Penny Black’s Transparent 'Love Assortment' 30-090 Set onto Folia Metal Foil with Stazon Black ink. The petals from the flower then defined using Ten Second Tools and the hearts puffed up using a paper stump.
The flowers and branches were then coloured using Sharpie fine liner pens and highlights added by scratching away colour to reveal the metal underneath. Gems were added to the centres of the flowers and the couple’s initials added using Peny Black’s Brushstroke uppercase alphabet set and black Staz on to complete the embellishment.
'Fern Green' 05-003 Mix and Match Cardstock was used and the bottom was cut with the Spellbinders Classic Scallop die, the top two thirds was then embossed with Cuttlebug’s Swiss Dots embossing folder. The sentiment from 'To You' 30-067 Transparent set was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with Stampendous Detail Black Embossing powder. Gingham and Satin Ribbon from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop was added 2/3 of the way down the mount and then the embellishment glued centrally to the top portion. Gems were added to the points on the scallops. This was then stitched using Ivory button thread to a second mount made from cream card that also had a scalloped bottom created using the Spellbinders Edgabilities die. To ensure even stitching a Piercing Bug was used from Provocraft.
This was then mounted onto 'Purple Mountain' 12-003 Mix and Match card that had been stamped with 'Paisley Outline' using Memento Grape Jelly Dye ink.
Thanks for visiting me today, enjoy your week.

Gorgeous card, I love the colour combination and all the lovely details. The hearts look fab :)
The details in this project are quite terrific & I love that ruffled ribbon & the way you echoed it with the classic scallop layers. The pearls pick up the swiss dots embossing beautifully too. The colours are my favourites & your personalization very special.
