Part One of Two For the Price of One

This week CAS-ual Friday have a bird challenge, details of the challenge can be found here. Here is my entry

I dry embossed three lines down the front of a white card blank and stamped the sentiment from Penny Black's 'Feel Better' 3380D in black ink.  I then coloured a separate panel with Wild Honey and Ripe Persimmon Distress inks and over stamped with 'All Over Pattern' 40-109.  I then used a Martha Stewart Dove punch to cut out the bird from the centre, mounted onto black card and added cantaloupe liquid pearls to the main panel to finish.

Thanks for visiting, if you have time check out part two to see how I made use of the punched out bird.

Hugs Cathy

The sponged panel is so striking, especially with the negative die cut to draw your eye. Very pretty! Thanks for joining us this week at CAS-ual Fridays!
