Wow can you believe it is already Wednesday? Today I am going to share a few tips using Prisma Colour pencils. Here is a card that has been coloured using these pencils.
First of all stamp the cat 'Embroidered' 4250K with Memento Black ink. When dry colour the shaded areas of the cat with Golden Rod; then using a blending stump and zest it blending solution pull out the colour around the face and the unshaded areas of the cat. then using sharp pencils draw in little strokes where the fur is shaded using mineral orange and raspberry (this gives the fur a realistic effect).
The Pin cushion was shaded using scarlet lake; poppy red and sunset yellow - and blended to get a soft finish. To create a linen effect on the fabric I used Ginger Root and roughly coloured using a cross hatch effect. To add dimension to the project I added twine and then mounted onto a spellbinders fancy oval frame using 'Blue Lagoon' 09-003 Mix and Match Card. I then mounted onto a white card blank that had been partially cut using a spellbinders oval die to finish.
Tomorrow I will be sharing an embossing technique.
So until then TTFN - as tigger would say!
Hugs Cathy

Adorable! Thanks for the tips about the pencil technique too.
The fold of the card suits this image so well & I love the way you used those aqua corner spots for embellishing. The fur of the cat looks brilliantly real & I love the way you used that twine. The detail in this really makes the project.
