Used: 'Social Butterfly' 30-116, 'Postcard' 1369L, 'Letter background' 1999L, 'Flowers Sweet' 30-096, 'Words Express' 30-106, 'Fuchsia Fantasies' 13-001 and 13-003
I stamped the Postcard, letter writing and daughter words with Versafine Black ink onto white card and coloured with Shabby Shutters Distress ink using a blending tool. I then over-stamped the edges with the leaf from Flowers Sweet set using Versafine Spanish Moss ink. The Post card was cut out using deckle edge blade on a trimmer and mounted onto Mix and Match card (that had been hand stitched).
On separate white card I stamped the butterfly twice with Seedless Preserves distress ink and then shaded using same ink and blending tool, cut out and layered using dimensional glue.I then added it to the postcard to finish.

Gosh, these colors are pretty together, Cathy! Love the over-stamped leaves along the edges, and your butterfly is gorgeous! :)
This is so beautiful!! You craftsmanship is amazing, Cathy! Happy belated birthday to Sophie!
wow this is gorgeous...
Clever how you used the "To" portion of the postcard to address it to your daughter!
Love the way you've used the 'wonderful' sentiment here & the way the colours work together - very striking indeed. I love the way you stamped the edges of the postcard too & made it so authentic wth the letter background.
