After yet another rainy weekend, I just had to add a splash of colour to the beginning of my week and what better way than with some colourful flowers.
I stamped 'Butterfly Kiss' 4233K with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured with Copics; RV55, RV66, RV11, YR21, YR15, YR18, YR82, Y23, Y26and Faber Castell 'May Green' 170 Big Brush Marker. I then stamped the wings again, coloured and mounted onto the card with dimensional glue.
I then added a border with patterned paper that had been cut using Tim Holtz scallop edge die.
Some seam binding was then coloured with the 'May Green' big brush marker and then the lace pattern from 'Lace Delight' 30-115 using Pitt Artist 'Ruby Metalic' 290 marker and added to the bottom of the card with a button and some twine.
The sentiment also from 'Lace Delight' 30-115 was then stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink to finish.
Thanks for joining me today, I hope you have a sunny week.
Hugs Cathy

I love this card, Cathy! I like the way you've put the border at the top and bottom of the card, and I love the flowers, they look so 3D and shiny!
Gorgeous card, wonderful dimension, Cathy - your details are amazing!
Beautiful card, Cathy! Love the dimension of that gorgeous butterfly! :)
The dimension created by your layering of the petals & wings plus the glorious stamping of the seam binding makes this very eye catching indeed.
It certainly brightened my day.
