Pretty in Pastels

I am so excited to be able to share with you today the news that I have been asked to be a guest designer on the blog for Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®, they kindly sent me some of their wonderful products to play with and today I am sharing the first project that I created using the PITT® Pastel Pencils.

In addition to the project here I have made a video tutorial and another card that can be seen over on the Faber Castell Design Memory Craft blog here (for a sneak peek of the project scroll to the bottom of this post).

This card was so easy to create, the pencil sets are designed so that all the colours work so well together. The flower from 'Petal Party' 30-113 was stamped onto white card with Versafine Smokey Grey ink and then coloured with Design Memory Craft Faber Castell PITT® Pastel Pencils
from the 'Blue/Green' set 770181.(colours used 153, 156, 168 and170)

The sentiment from 'Lace Delight' 30-115 was then stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.  The edge of the card was die cut using Spellbinders Edgeability Classic Petal and then mounted onto 'Blue Lagoon' 09-003Mix and Match cardstock.

For further details on using the PITT® Pastel Pencils and to see the other project please refer to the Video here.

And here is the sneak peak I promised you!

I really enjoyed using these pencils, they are so easy to use! Thanks for visiting me today.
Hugs Cathy
