A Stamp is Not Just for Christmas

Do you like to get the most out of your stamps?  I certainly do and Christmas stamps are no exception.  I have taken the new Christmas "Winter Ledge' 4271L stamp and made it into a hot summer card!

I stamped the image with Versafine Black ink and then placed a circle mask for the sun and brayered the top  portion of the image with Kaleidacolor Desert Heat ink, I then used the Kaleidacolor Flanel ink pad and inked just the green and orange/red shades to finish off the bottom, I then put a bit of  Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Big Brush Markers ink (Yellow 109 and Red 219) on my finger and rubbed into the area that was masked off for the sun.

Once dry the whole area was triple embossed with clear powder and cut out using Spellbinders Labels One, this was then mounted onto card and ribbons and pre printed sentiment attached to finish off.

So don't forget. if you are on a budget and want to try something different dig out your Christmas stamps and see if you can find a way to use them now!

Hope you are having a great week.
Hugs Cathy

Absolutely striking & perfect for Halloween. This is one of those really versatile stamps - as you say not just for Christmas - perfect for Spring too.

Cathy, I love it when you used the stamp for a different theme. Gorgeous scene.
