Glittery Christmas Bookmark

Hi everyone, I was just messing around in the craft room and decided to have a go at creating a glittery scene with the new Penny Black Transparent Set 'Silent Night' 30-135 and so a bookmark was born!

Stamp the image onto a double sided sheet of adhesive and then cut out the separate parts of the design, giving you a jigsaw!  Stick onto black card matching up the design.

Peel off individual pieces of paper to reveal the adhesive and then add glitter.

Continue with this process until the whole design has been glittered.

Stamp the image in black and white using Staz On onto wide Sellotape, cut out the stars from the white and lay over the glitter, then overlay the black tape.  This will seal in the glitter and stop it from rubbing off on your book.

Mount onto Silver card add a sentiment and  decorative edge using a die or scissors to finish.

Thank you for visiting me today and for all your lovely comments, it really means a lot to me that you take the time to do this.

Hugs Cathy

Very ingenious indeed. Love the layered look you achieved with the glitter & & adhesive strip - much smoother than when using glue too.
