Soft Floral Inspired by Heather

Today I thought I would share a card that was inspired by one of my fellow design team members Heather's technique.

Here is a card that has been masked, and then sponged to create pale background, "Letter Background" 1999L was then stamped in a darker shade of ink leaving parts of the card blank and then "Daisy Fields" 4042K was coloured with Memento Inks and stamped, diamond stickles was added to the petals and mounted onto "Grand Canyon" 03-002 Mix & Match Card the edges of which were reddened with Fired Brick ink and Seam Binding coloured with distress inks to match. A spellbinders border from Moroccan accents was added to finish.

Did you know that Faber Castell Design Memory Craft are having giveaways throughout August, if you want to join in check out their facebook page here for details.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone.
Hugs Cathy

You have done such a great job on this card, it is fabulous. I love the subtle colours and the wow of the seam binding and the spellbinders border :)

Very striking with the red & white combined alongside the soft colouring of the image.
