A Tree of Hearts

I wanted to create a special present for a couple's Ruby Wedding, my original gift idea was to give them a Ruby Rose Tree, but I discovered someone else had the same thought and so I decided to make my own tree out of hearts.

I stamped some Cream and Red paper with the 'Diamond Pattern' 40-169 cling stamp and then punched out lots of little hearts.  I then stamped the 'Autumn Tree' 40-163 onto white card and again onto brown card for the trunk. The hearts were then glued around the tree using in alternating colours.  The Finished design was then placed in a box frame.  For more detailed instructions see the butterfly tree here.

Don't forget I will be back tomorrow to share the winners of my giveaway.

Hugs until then
Cathy

This tree will be so much better than the rose bush. It will be in flower all the year, and won't need maintainance. It's beautiful and I love the way you have adapted your first tree to make an equally stunning picture.

Cathy that is a beautiful gift - I am sure it will be treasured - (and it cannot be killed with kindness or neglect, intentional or otherwise)I am always a little wary of giving or receiving plants in case they do die and cause distress :-).
