I have decided to name today Madison Monday as I want to share a paper pieced card that I created over the weekend using the new Madison Paper Pad 80-001.
I stamped the Pinstriped 4161K flower onto white card and cut out using Spellbinders Labels Fourteen, I then coloured the stem with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Big Brush marker Nougat 175 and edged the die with their pastel pencil 1122-176.
The flower was then stamped again onto Madison paper 80-001 and cut out. I then used the Nougat big brush marker and the Light Cobalt Turquoise Marker 154 to add extra shading to the leaves and petals before sticking over the main stamped image. Some twine, a tag stamped with enjoy form the transparent set enjoy life 30-032 and a button (backed with madison paper was added to the bottom and then this was mounted onto a panel of patterned paper cut using spellbinders reverse wonky rectangles,; the edges of which had been coloured using the brown pastel pencil.
To finish off it was mounted onto a card blank that had been covered with Madison paper and faux stitched with a brown fine liner pen.
Don't forget to check out the Penny Black blog this week where some of the design team will be sharing some amazing projects using the latest stamp release - I have already had a sneak peak and they will blow your socks off!
Have a wonderful week, hugs
Cathy

I love the colours & especially that softness you created with the pastel pencils. The layering of the various nestie elements is very eye- catching.
