From this I was then able to colour in my stamped image for the card.
I just love the new transparent stamp set Marzipan Greetings 30-126, I wanted to give the bird a fancier tail so I added the swirly twigs from the vase stamp and then set about colouring it in.
I used the Spellbinders Labels Eighteen to cut round the coloured bird, chopped off the bottom and then added some faux stitching. The card blank was created from Sticks and Stones 02-001 mix and match card, Design Spotter 40-050 was then stamped onto some Rose Garden 14-003 card and added turquoise patterned paper that was then stitched to the base card. Some pink grossgrain ribbon was then added to the join and the bird image stamped onto Storm 01-001 card was then placed on top with foam pads with a few turquoise feathers.
The sentiment was then stamped and embossed with black powder using Sweet Wishes 30-104 onto Rose Garden 14-001 card trimmed to a banner shape and added to finish off the card.
After I made this card I just had to create a few more, so if you want to see my other lollipop colour cards check back next Monday and Wednesday!
Thank you so much for your support and comments, have a great weekend
Hugs Cathy

Beautiful colours, great card.
This is so cute! I just love the feathers on this card and the colors are so pretty!
Great card, Cathy! I love that colour combo, it's so cheerful.
Fabulous colors, Cathy, and I love your clever tail for the bird! The feathers are such a fun addition too!
the turquoise feathers add a lovely touch of decadence & balance your top half beautifully. The tail of that bird is quite magnificent & I love the way that you echoed those shapes with your die-cut. I particularly like your idea of banner wrapping.
