Apricot Daisies and Brilliant Blues

Every woman loves to receive flowers, right?  So why not send them by way of a greeting card.  This card has multi layered flowers and added dimension with gold dimensional paint.

With a change of flower colour  you can get a totally different look.

Beautifully Blue

Materials used:- Trims 30-068, Flower Gallery 30-031, Love Assortment 30-090 and Sweet Wishes 30-104.
Copics: Blue Flowers - B34, BG18, E41, BG0000, Apricot Flowers - YR01, YR12, YR78, Centres YR14, YR23, E87, Leaves G21 & G94. Spelbinders Nesting Squares and Labels Twenty three
Viva Ferro Metal Effect Colour - Precious Steel Gold, Old Gold Stickles, Gold Embossing Powder,Versamark ink, Memento London Fog, Teal Zeal and danube Blue ink. (the butterfly on the first card was given to me by a friend). Pearls and metal beads Gold and white gloss card..

Emboss some gloss white card using a nesting square die and then sponge the three memento ink colours to create the background, lay leaf stencil on card and apply dimensional gold paint.

Stamp leaf with versamark ink and emboss with gold powder.

Stamp flower onto scrap card with Memento Black ink and colour with copics. add stickles to the centre and then attach to the card with foam pads, add dots of gold with a pen and add pearls and sentiment. Add sentiment to finish off.

I just also wanted to let you know that I will not be posting or commenting so much on my blog and your blogs over the coming weeks as I have to go in to hospital for an operation, I will schedule a few things in advance when I can.

What wonderful cards Cathy! The layers that was the first thing I noticed! So many beautiful aspects of it the embossed and the stenciled leaves. And the butterfly on your apricot flower is such a nice touch. Just lovely!
