Peaches and Cream Inspired Birthday

A friend of mine in LA creates the most AMAZING bouquets and floral art at Le Petit Gardinia, and whilst looking at one of wedding bouquets I was inspired to create a birthday card with the flower shades taken from her design here.

Peaches and Cream

Materials used:- Holiday Delight 40-168, Flower Gallery 30-031, Sweet Wishes 30-104, Fern Green 05-002 and Coral Reef mix 15-001 and match card.

The fern green card was stamped with gold opalite ink, the edges rounded and mounted onto the coral card.

The Wreath was then stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and then coloured with Copic markers, the outside edge was fussy cut and then the centre die cut using a Spellbinders nesting Circle -I just love how the Penny Black stamps match these dies perfectly. The bow was given a sheen by covering with gold foil.  This was then mounted onto the main card using dimensional foam pads.

Finally the cutout was used to stamp the sentiment and added to the centre of the design.

This card is destined for a very good friend in the USA, I hope she likes it!

Happy Monday, Hugs Cathy

Absolutely beautiful with those colours & I love the way you have used the white elements to make the whole so striking. A lovely pretty & feminine card - amazing how adaptable the stamp is for non-seasonal projects too.

Cathy there is nothing better than receiving a handmade card. I am sure your friend was over the moon to receive this bouquet of wishes and the time and thought you shared with her on her special day.
