More Warm Thanks

The trend with many cards this year is warm, rich colours; I decided to follow this with a thank you card.

Warm Glitter Thanks

Used: Winter Berries 4273K, Diamond Pattern 40-169, Big Thanks 107D (sorry after using this stamp I realised it had been discontinued) and Summer Sun 17-002.

* Using the direct to paper technique ink a piece of white card with Seedless Preserves distress ink.

* Stamp and emboss  diamond pattern with Wow glitter powder, emboss summer sun with an embossing folder (I think this one is a Sizzix one) and distress raised areas with Wild Honey distress ink.

* Cut a circle with Spellbinders Circle die and stamp tree with Vintage Sepia ink.  Add red stickles and various colours of liquid pearl dots to the tree. Add a twine bow to the trunk.

* Stamp greeting and cut using spellbinders label (tip: to get the V both ends just turn around the card and run through the machine again).

*Adhere all elements to card blank and cover joins with ribbon.

I have a few more last minute Christmas cards to share with you this weekend before the big day, so until my next post .........
TTFN (just got to love Tigger!)
Hugs Cathy
