Happy New Year

As I get older, I seem to become more forgetful and as a result occasionally forget to send out a Christmas Card to someone.  So to make up for my omission I send New Year cards. Here is an example of one such card.

Wintery New Year

uses: Before the Snow3993K, Winter Magic 30-134 and Storm 01-001

Onto white card stamp tree with versamark ink and then overstamp with green ink slightly off from the original image, then add clear embossing powder.

Mask off drifts and sponge with light blue ink for the snow, place a circular mask for the moon and add darker blue to the sky.  Add glitter to the tops of the snow and then frame in an embossed Lil Inkers Wood Frame, mount onto navy card.  Two circles were then cut using Spellbinders nesting circle dies and the sentiment stamped and glittered along the edge.

Hopefully on receipt of this they will forgive me!

We are predicted snow this weekend, so this card is so appropriate!

Don't forget to check out the Penny Black Facebook Page as we are giving you sneak peaks of some of the new Spring Catalog.

hugs Cathy
