Play Date Cafe Challenge

This week the Play Date Cafe challenge (PDCC174) uses colours Amethyst, Emerald and Peridot, when I saw this colour combination I just had to play along, as they work so well together. Oh dear, I missed the deadline to enter...never mind I loved the colours anyway!

Here is my entry

Poppy Power

I used  Les Petites 90-001, Versafine Onyx Black ink with clear embossing powder,  stamped with Blooming Garden 30-155 and coloured with copics (V12, V15, V17, BG23, BG49, BG78 and G5)  and Dahilas 30-159 (for the sentiment). Tip: by cutting the individual words for the sentiment I was able to re-arange them in a vertical format. To finish off the design I used a piece of MT Washi Tape.

I also made a floral envelope to give it that extra special feel.
Poppy Power with Matching Envelope
Envelope stamped with Glory of Modesty 40-206 and dye ink

Don't forget to hop on over to the Penny Black Blog this week for some amazing Clean and Simple stamping inspiration.

  3. This looks beautiful & I love the way you grounded the flowers using the Washi Tape. The shading is a joy on those petals & I love the crispness of this against your white card base.
