Stay Cool

I am so happy that summer has officially taken residence in the UK, with heat wave temperatures reaching over 30 degrees....so whilst soaking up some of this rare sun, I wanted to remind everyone to stay cool with this little card.



The card blank was made from Clear Skies 10-001 mix and match card and stamped with Dots in Space 40-144 using Memento Summer Sky ink. Ice cream and drink images  from the transparent stamp set Summer Fun 30-107 were then stamped on to Storm 01-001 mix and match card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with alcohol markers.

The bottom edge of the stamped piece was then cut using Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders One S5-181 and then mounted onto A strip of Clear Skies 10-003 mix and match card which has been stamped with Versamark ink along the bottom using a sentiment from the transparent set Friendship 30-160 and then embossed with white detail powder.

This was then attached to the main card and faux zig sag stitching stamped using the transparent set Embellishments 30-161 and Versafine Onyx Black ink.
