Birthday Slider

Today is my Son's Birthday and as a dog lover I thought this card would be perfect, with its cool slider action.

Materials Used:

Penny Black Stamps Snippets 30-283, Man's Best Friend 30-120, Word Express  and Penny Black Dies Silver Linings 51-033, In The Garden 51-144,  a Small Slider Die. Chameleon Color Tone Pens; Caramel, Fawn, Taupe, Crimson Red and Chameleon Color Tone Pencils Ginger and Grapefruit. Memento Tuxedo Black and London Fog Ink, 

Making Tips:-

• To create the background border of grass and flowers I placed the top cutting mat only partially over the die so that it would only cut out the grass.

• Add an old coin to the back of the slider mechanism to make it move easier.

• To get the dog to go into the kennel raise one side of the kennel up on dimensional foam pads.
