Well the weekend is almost upon us, and Mimi is taking advantage of the free time to get some skating in! Here is a pull the tab card - I am sorry I can't explain how I do this in words but if you would like me to add it to my video to do list when my shoulder is better, let me know!
The background has been created using the tree from Penny Black's Clear set Christmas Express 30-080 the central tree was stamped and white embossed, I then masked this tree before stamping and embossing the other two trees. The snowflakes are from Let it Snow 30-086 (I cut the small snowflake out of the centre of the snowman - it didn't hurt, honest) and Fairy Christmas 30-082 again they were white embossed. The background was then coloured with Tumbled Glass distress ink and the trees coloured with Bundled Sage and Pine Needles Distress ink, Frayed burlap was used for the tree trunks.
Here is Mimi after the tab has been pulled!
Mimi was stamped from the Christmas with Mimi set 30-079 coloured with Copic Markers; Face - E50, E51, E93, Skates - C3, W00 and W1, Hat and leggings - R17 and R27, Holly and Berries - G21, G18, R37 and R59, Coat- G21 & G28, I also doodled flowers on her coat using a fine liner pen. Fluffy stuff was added to her hat and glossy accents to the berries. She was then cut out and added to the slider mechanism.
The main image was then mounted onto black card and Mix and Match Forest Glen card stock 07-002
I hope you have a lovely weekend and if you have time please check out Elizabeth's wonderful Mimi Christmas card on the Penny Black blog here.
