Moxie Fab Meets Kathy's Colour challenge!

Have you seen the new challenges over at Moxie Fab, there is plenty of themes to get your creative juices flowing!  I have made a card that fits, two Moxie Fab categories, the Embellishment challenge here and the Fascination with Feathers challenge here.  But hey why make life easy, why not combine a third challenge....yes I have gone completely mad, but how could I resist making something out of Kathy's colour challenge over at Lily Pad here. Ha Ha just checked and this challenge closed last week...not very late then!

So here it is....the multi challenge card.....taa daaa!  (Part one ...scroll down for part two)

The central feather flower embellishment was inspired by one of the cards on the Moxie fab blog, but I think that was bought, I made mine by cutting a circle of pink card, and then I cut up a feather and glued it to the circle, to hide the jumble in the middle I stamped 'letter background' 1999L onto a paper flower and distressed the edges and then to hold the flower to the feather I added a Gemstone brad.

The embellishment was then mounted onto some Kraft paper (recycled wrapping paper tube!) that had been stamped with 'Flamboyant' 4240K and Frayed Burlap Ink, the edges were distressed and then it was mounted onto various circles cut with spellbinders dies.  The sentiment is 'Feel Better' 3380D was then stamped onto a scrap of card and cut into a banner shape.

But then I thought is there enough pink???? well I had to go on and so I created a second version this time with a light floral border  that was again stamped with 'Flamboyant' 4240K and coloured with Prisma Pencils.

Not sure which version I prefer, so I thought I would submit both.

Thanks for staying with me to the end of this post.

Only one more day until the weekend Yippeeeeeeee!

Hugs Cathy

Both are super - but if I were to choose one it would be the second with the way the pink outer stamping pulls the eye to the colour of the feathery bits. Lovely example of one thing leading to another & how to go with it.
Have a super weekend.
