I recently bought a Rose Bush as a gift for a friend to say thanks for helping me when I came out of hospital and wanted to just leave it on her doorstep with a little tag. Here is the tag that I created to add to this little token.
I stamped and clear embossed the floral silhouette 3379H and then added the sentiment from Salutations 30-014. I then added distress inks using a torn post it note mask, with wild honey, ripe persimmon and fired brick. The tag was then edged with seedless preserves and liquid pearls added to finish off.
I hope my friend will enjoy the roses as they bloom in years to come. Hugs Cathy

What a lovely gesture, Cathy! Hope you are getting stronger; sending along some hugs today!
Lovely tag, great colours. Hope you are doing well.
what a gorgeous tag...
The colours are delightful & I love the mauve of the flower silhouette with your white highlights. Hope your recovery is going as it should. Take good care.

LOVE how you used the torn post it note mask--will have to give that a try. This tag is absolutely gorgeous!
This is a great tag Cathy - love the way you have used the emboss resist technique.

The orange and purple color combination is divine!
Just love this tag and am imagining it as a card. Love the colours, some of which I would not have thought to put together.
That's one of the great things about looking at others artwork, you get to learn more than you expect to.
Many thanks for the info on how you made this gorgeous piece of worl.
