Thanks with Zing

Orange is always a zingy colour for me, it bursts out of the card with such warmth you can not help but to like it.

Here is an Orange water coloured thank you card that I created to say thanks to a friend.

Tiger Lily

I used Tigress 3817K, Madison 80-00, Fall Festival 16-002 and Wishes 30-103.  The flowers were water coloured using inktense pencils and the stamens given dimension with Inkessentials black enamel accents.  The side of the card was then punched to give the impression of being torn out of a spiral binder, sentiment and gems added and then mounted onto card and patterned paper.

The card blank was created using a scrap of thin brown paper that was adhered to a white card blank (this is a great way to bulk up the paper and use up scraps).  To add a bit more interest to the design I added some faux stitches with a Dark Sepia Pitt Artis Pen.

Thank you for visiting me today,
Hugs Cathy

I love colours like this & the combination of orange, black & white with browns. The effect of the enamel accents is absolutely brilliant.
