Time Flies

Well I hope you are enjoying the new reveal from Penny Black, don't forget to check out the blog over the coming weeks to see some fabulous creations here.

Today I thought I would share a simple card that would be suitable for a guy (boy aren't they hard to design cards for!).

I have used the new transparent set Charms 30-173 for my inspiration along with a few other really cool stamps.

Time Flies

Materials used:-
Penny Black -  Charms 30-173, Kate's Alphabet 30-168, Sweet as Honey 30-145, Sweet Melody 40-195 and Sticks and Stones 02-001Mix and Match Card.
Other - Versafine Onyx Black ink, Black Embossing Powder, Gold Vellum and Ranger Glossy Accents.

* Stamp sentiment using alphabet stamps and Versafine ink. Tip: Draw a faint pencil line so that your sentiment is straight and then rub out when finished.

* Stamp and emboss bottom half of swirly pattern from Sweet Melody stamp set.

* Stamp Sweet as Honey onto vellum, emboss and cut out the wings, adhere to main card.

* Stamp the clock and emboss add glossy accents and when dry cut out and mount with a foam pad onto the main card.

I enjoyed hearing about your favourite stamps from the new catalog on Monday, I hope you get to play with them soon.

Hugs Cathy
