Simply Washi

I wanted to try a very clean and simple design for today's blog post and so here it is .....

CAS Washi Butterfly

This was unbelievably quick to make, I cut a piece of wash tape and fish tailed the end and stuck directly onto the card.

I then took a piece of turquoise cardstock, added an SRM sticker and fishtailed the end and mounted above the washi tape using foam pads.

A butterfly was cut out of Vellum and Onion paper using The Spellbinders Grand Calibur Machine GC-001 and Die set Les Papillions Two S4-395 mounted onto the card using dimensional glue and three gems added.

I love how intricate the cut is of the butterfly and it looks so delicate using vellum. Tip: to allow the paper to release easily from the die place a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper/cardstock.

I will be back on Friday to share how to get the most out of one stamp, don't forget to check out the Penny Black blog all this week for inspiration using the latest stamp release.
