You Only Need FIVE pens !!!!

Hi everyone, I know I have been a tad quiet since my return from CHA, but I have been busy trying out new products, finding homes for others and trying to stay quiet about those that are still under wraps....so do keep checking back for all things new.

Today I have something really cool to share with you, whilst at CHA I came across some amazing new alcohol pens, called Chameleon. What is so amazing about them is that you can achieve colour blends with just one pen and you do not need to be an experienced artist to use them.  I have been lucky enough to play with new pens and this is the first thing I was able to create; with no practice at all and I only used 5 colours, a Red, Blue, Green, Black and Purple!

Supplies: Penny Black: Red Tango 4373K, Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Memento Dye Inks: Elderberry, Summer Sky, Spellbinders: Standard Circles Sm S4-116, Lacey Circles S4-293, Coral Card stock and Chameleon Pens R1 (red), P1 (purple), Ol1 (olive), B2 (blue), K1 (black) and a black detail pen.

Now for the how, well each pen has blending barrel that you place on top of the pen nib, this infuses the pen with blending solution; so that as you colour the pen automatically blends from a light to darker shade. (Video's on how they work can be found here). You can see this with the flower petals, where I have started to colour from the outer edge of the petals towards the centre giving the graduated blend and then gone back into the centre to get a darker shade again.

Did you notice the flower?  It is part of the latest amazing release from Penny Black, I have to confess that I have fallen in love with all the flowers in this range; to check out the other designs available click here.

Thank you for visiting me today, hugs
