Sunset Balloon

The weekend is almost upon us and I already have lots of chores to do, but I wish I could just forget about it and float off somewhere warm. So this is my inspiration for today's card

Up and Away

Supplies used to create this card:
Penny Black Soft Whisper 40-289 and Bon Vivant 30-214 stamps, Silver Linings 51-033 and Triple Banner 51-027 dies.
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Radiant Neon Electric Yellow, Electric Orange, Electric Coral, Electric Pink and Versafine  Onyx black inks and an ink sweeper.
Chameleon Alcohol pens, Red R1, Red Orange RO1, Yellow Orange YO1 and Cool Grey CG1.
Other yellow, black grey and white card, Sweet Dixie balloon die.

To create the background cut cloud masks from post it notes and place on white card, then using an ink sweeper and radiant neon inks colour background blending as you go, starting at the top with Electric Yellow, then Electric Orange followed by Electric Coral and finally Electric Pink down to the bottom. Stamp soft whisper with Versafine ink.

Cut the ballon die from grey card and then blend the cool grey from the top to the bottom.

Emboss the balloon onto white card and colour the panels of the balloon using the chameleon pens, once coloured run through the die cutting machine again to cut out the coloured elements. Add to background using dimensional foam pads and mount onto black and then yellow card.

Cut banner using die and ink with Radiant Neons lightly whilst the card is still in the die. Stamp sentiment and attach to the card with foam pads to complete.

Here is a closer shot of the card, I love how the chameleon pens give dimension to the balloon!
